Stop fatal system error windows logon process

However, please note that this is not related to the current problem. Thanks you for your help. Best regards, Student Hi ElderL Thanks for your reply. The computer can be boot in safe mode. However, to my surprise, no minidump files have been saved for this problem.

I have seen at least 5 such error message today and i am very sure i have configure the computer to save copies of minidumps files. A copy of the previous minidump files is pasted in my previous reply to zigzagx.

How can i solve this problem? Regards Student In fact, STOP errors do not generate dump files at all. They can be uninstalled later if desired. This file was restored to the original version to maintain system stability. The file version of the system file is 5. If, in a couple seconds, if you don't see the winlogon. If it still does not show up give WFP a few seconds , rename the winlogon. If WFP does not replace the missing file, you have some other problems.

Reboot and see how things look. I would update to the newest driver available or remove if not needed at least to test. You can also repair a corrupt registry by using System Restore. Go to Start and type in systempropertiesprotection and press Enter.

Click on the System Protection tab and click on System Restore. Click on Choose a different restore point and click Next. Pick a restore point when your computer was working and click Next. After the registry is restored, restart your computer.

Lastly, if a service has failed to start, you can manually try to start it by going to Start and typing in services. In the Services dialog, find the service, right-click on it and choose Start. Restart your computer and press F8 when it is booting up. This will get you the Advanced Boot Options. This can help you recover from problems resulting from newly installed drivers that may not be compatible with your system. This is also called a repair install. It basically replaces all your system files, but keeps all your data and applications.

Safe mode do not work too. After that I choose the option to stop on errors to avoid auto restart and I can see the message typical BSOD message. The system has been shut down. I googled for this error and found nothing solutions.

The process is terminating abnormally. Now I found the source of the problem. These may be if the DLLs were recently changed. I created the list of the DLLs linked to the Winlogon. It was the large list. I made the new installation of the Windows XP to the same disk to the Windows.
