Place a second nail 6" from the bottom and a third in the middle of the frame. Step 5. Mark in telescopic trim places for hinges and make cut before insertion into frame. Use wood shims with the level and tack the shims against the jamb until th e level is perfectly plumb. Now you can start installing the non hinge side of the frame.

Done correctly, the trim will perfectly conceal the door installation brackets.
