Furnace, water heater shower, toilet. No water heater or furnace. Thus allowing total control over the quality of their units. The idea was implemented by Reg Thorn as a unique feature to their manufacturing. To this day Glendale has the ability to mold anything out of ABS through their vacuum forming machine in their Strathroy Ontario facility.

One mentioned the filing and will do extended warranty if there is no factory warranty I don't know what the warranty is in these situations. Hopefully a market for quality RV products is there.
IMO, it seems like an exchange rate issue than anything else. It was purchased over the winter by a young couple in Kimberley, B. Stumped, puzzled? Maybe one of our knowledgeable RVwest readers can help us solve the mystery of this trailer's exact origins. This little trailer still has its original manufacturer tag on its side, which is sometimes a rarity with these older, vintage units.
A cursory search of a few vintage trailer sites doesn't bring up much information or many details on the history of this 20th Century travel trailer. Did Glendale do anything with that? Here, GM shuts down entire brands and leaves warranties in-tact. Seems, once again, that the RV industry is a very different beast. That brings us to 'what to do', and I think the answer is wait and watch. I have that minor leak in the coach for now, which I can probably fix at some point.
Everything else seems to be working ok , and any MAJOR systems I have in place are covered by their own warranties, so - no big deal, I hope. I'm pretty handy, and I'm hoping that the major stuff stays together.
They didn't care how they looked to outsiders, or even a current customer, because they knew they were leaving the business.
